BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut — Bridgeport police say they have recovered an SUV involved in fatal hit-and-run accident and are questioning the corrections officer who owns it.

Fifty-on-year-old Evelyn Agyei of Bridgeport was killed when the vehicle she was driving went off Boston Avenue and hit a tree after being struck several times by a white BMW sport utility vehicle. Her 11-year-old son survived the Dec. 4 accident.

Police released a video of the crash, and say they received several tips that led them to their suspect.

No arrests have been made.

The Connecticut Post reports the BMW's owner is a 15-year employee of the state Department of Correction.
