Missing Little Rock man, 87, found dead; body sent to state crime laboratory

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas — The Pulaski County sheriff's office says an 87-year-old Little Rock man reported missing last week has been found.

Spokesman Capt. Carl Minden says Floyd Teasley's body was discovered Monday afternoon in the College Station area by railroad tracks.

Teasley's grandson, Tommie Staggers, reported him missing after he went to his residence to check on him. Staggers says nothing appeared out of place in the home. He says that his grandfather has dementia, but has never walked away from the residence.

Teasley's body has been sent to the state crime laboratory to determine his cause of death.
