Massachusetts man pronounced dead at scene of motorcycle accident in New Hampshire


WINDHAM, New Hampshire — New Hampshire police say a Massachusetts man was pronounced dead at the scene of a motorcycle accident in Windham just after midnight.

Authorities say 52-year-old Brian Ahern of Lowell, Massachusetts died after his bike veered off Interstate 93 southbound in Windham, New Hampshire Thursday morning.

Ahern's Harley Davidson XIL-1200 was on its side in the high speed breakdown lane.

The highway was closed for nearly an hour while state troopers investigated the accident scene.
