Baltimore Police investigate officer-involved shooting during traffic stop that left 1 injured

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are currently investigating a police-involved shooting that left one man injured on Saturday evening.

According to WBALTV.com (http://bit.ly/1yG5SmO) shots rang out in the 2700 block of Baker Street.

Police say they were attempting to make a traffic stop for a traffic violation when one of the occupants of the vehicle fled.

According to police, when officers chased the suspect, they produced a weapon which caused an officer to fire his gun.

The suspect was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

The officer was not injured in the incident.
