Covington man, 32, accused of possessing child pornography

COVINGTON, Louisiana — State police and FBI investigators have arrested a 32-year-old Covington man, accused of possessing child pornography.

The Times-Picayune reports (http://bit.ly/ZkH145 ) Paul Beebe III was booked Tuesday into the St. Tammany Parish jail on 21 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles.

Police say authorities searched Beebe's house and seized computers, CDs and DVDs that allegedly contained child pornography.

It was unclear whether Beebe has an attorney.
