HOUSTON — A man on the Texas 10 Most Wanted convicted sex offender list has been captured at a home in Houston.

The Texas Department of Public Safety on Friday announced the arrest of 46-year-old Michael Dwayne Cox. DPS says a tipster will get a $3,000 reward for information leading to Cox, who was nabbed Monday.

Officials in Polk County in 2013 issued a warrant for Cox for failure to register as a sex offender.

Cox in 1994 was convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child after an incident in Dallas County involving a 9-year-old girl. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Cox in 2004 was convicted in Harris County of possession of a controlled substance.
