TRENTON, New Jersey — Dense fog and even smoke from a brush fire are reducing visibility in parts of New Jersey.

The National Weather Service says the fog is spreading inland from the coast, reducing visibility to a quarter mile or less.

In the southern part of the state, the fog is mixed with smoke from a brush fire in Shamong Township.

Motorists are advised to reduce speed until the fog lifts.
