TUCSON, Arizona — Police say a man has been arrested after a woman he was in a relationship with was found dead in a Tucson home.
Tucson police announced Wednesday that 52-year-old Christopher Raboin has been booked into the Pima County Jail on suspicion of second-degree murder.
Officers responded to the house around 4:30 a.m. Monday on a report of a burglary in progress.
They found 46-year-old Rosalia Gilbert inside the home with injuries allegedly suffered during a domestic-violence related assault. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they saw a vehicle driven by Raboin leave the area and he was arrested after a chase.
Detectives say Raboin and Gilbert were in a relationship and he had been at the home with her all night before the alleged assault occurred.
