Shekinna Stricklen's 3-pointers help Sun run away from Dream 82-64

UNCASVILLE, Connecticut — and both scored 18 points to lead the Connecticut Sun over the Atlanta Dream 82-64 on Sunday.

Stricklen came off the bench to hit 4 of 6 3-point attempts. Bone was 9 of 11 from the floor. had 17 points and added 10.

Angel McCoughtry paced the Dream with 24 points. and both added 10 points.

Connecticut (3-1) took over in the fourth quarter, using a 9-2 run to go up eight, then scored 13 straight — including consecutive 3-pointers by Stricklen — to build a 20-point lead.

The Dream (2-3) raced out to a 20-5 lead early, but the Sun used a 13-2 run — including 's 3-pointer — to trim the deficit to four at the end of the first quarter.

Connecticut then dominated much of the second quarter to run up an 11-point lead before Atlanta put together an eight-point run to trail by three, 39-36, at the half.
