Police find man's body behind a northeast Omaha apartment complex and investigate shooting

OMAHA, Nebraska — Police are investigating a fatal shooting after finding a man's body behind an apartment building in northeast Omaha.

Omaha police say gunshots were detected at 2:47 a.m. Sunday by the city's ShotSpotter system.

Officers found a man's body behind the Spencer Apartments just north of 28th and Spencer streets.

The man was identified as 36-year-old Quincy Harden of Omaha.

Police did not immediately release many details about the shooting.
