GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado — Authorities are investigating after a body was found in a canal near Grand Junction.
Heather Benjamin, a spokeswoman from the Mesa County Sheriff's Department, tells the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel (http://bit.ly/118Rf5a ) that officers were called to the canal in the Redlands just before 10 p.m. Saturday. The man's name has not been released.
Benjamin says the death does not appear to be suspicious.
