WORCESTER, Massachusetts — State police say a 24-year-old man has died after being struck by a school bus on Interstate 290 in Worcester.
The accident happened shortly before 1:40 p.m. Tuesday on the westbound side of I-290. State police say the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with a head wound but later died from his injuries.
The name of the victim will be made public on Wednesday after his family has been notified.
State police released no further information about the accident.
