Survey finds average retail gasoline prices across Texas up 4 cents this week

HOUSTON — Industry officials say retail gasoline prices across Texas have risen 4 cents this week.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported the average price at the pump reached $3.38 per gallon.

Gasoline prices nationally rose 3 cents this week to hit $3.55 per gallon.

The association says Dallas and Fort Worth have the most expensive gasoline in Texas at $3.41 per gallon. Beaumont has the cheapest gasoline with a $3.28 average.

AAA Texas says recent signs of economic recovery have supported higher oil prices and led to slight gasoline price increases in many parts of the country.
