New York woman pleads guilty in slayings of ex-boyfriend, his girlfriend at New Jersey home

HACKENSACK, New Jersey — A New York woman has admitted killing her former boyfriend and his girlfriend in an attack at a northern New Jersey home, but says she did not intend to kill the girlfriend.

The Record ( ) reports 50-year-old Monica Mogg, of Washingtonville, now faces life in prison when she's sentenced Sept. 9.

Mogg admitted Wednesday that she spent days stalking 52-year-old Arthur Noeldechen in an attempt to get him alone. Mogg had dated Noeldechen for ten years.

Mogg entered the home of his new girlfriend, 42-year-old Jung Yi "Lillian" Kim, through an unlocked door in October 2012. She fatally shot Noeldechen with a rifle, then repeatedly stabbed Kim after they got into a fight.

Bergen County prosecutors say Mogg wasn't offered a plea deal. They say she voluntarily waived her right to trial and gave up her diminished capacity defense.
