HELENA, Montana — A West Yellowstone man has claimed the $10,000 Early Bird prize from the Montana Millionaire game.

Jack Strozzi says he decided on a whim to purchase his first Montana Millionaire ticket at Super Save Car Wash in West Yellowstone.

He claimed his prize from the Nov. 28 drawing at Montana Lottery headquarters in Helena on Friday.

Lottery tickets purchased before 10 a.m. on Dec. 19 are eligible for the $10,000 Pre Millionaire drawing.

Lottery officials say more than half of the game's 135,000 $20 tickets had been sold by Friday.

The final drawing for a $1 million prize, two $100,000 prizes and a third $10,000 prize are scheduled to take place on Jan. 1, unless the tickets sell out early. The game also pays out $500 and $50 instant prizes.
