BOZEMAN, Montana — Michael Dison scored 29 points to lead Montana State to a 67-53 win over Idaho State on Saturday.

Dison finished with 9-of-17 shooting from the field — including 4-of-9 from distance — and 7-of-7 from the line for the Bobcats (7-20, 4-11 Big Sky). Marcus Colbert added 17 points.

Dison, Colbert and Stephan Holm combined for four 3-pointers to help Montana State to an 18-6 first-half lead. A Chris Hansen jumper put Idaho State on top 26-22 with 4:05 left in the period and the Bengals (6-21, 3-12) had a 31-24 advantage at the break.

With Montana State trailing 40-38 early in the second half, Dison and Colbert each sank a 3-pointer to help the Bobcats go on a 16-6 run to lead 54-46 with 6:16 left. Idaho State sank just three more field goals after that and the Bobcats cruised to the win.

Hansen led Idaho State with 21 points.
