Small plane crashes into fence at northern New Jersey airport

LINDEN, New Jersey — Authorities say a small, single-engine plane hit a fence during takeoff from a northern New Jersey airport.

It happened just before 7 p.m. Sunday when the plane tried to take off from Linden Airport. Authorities say the plane aborted takeoff and hit a fence.

No injuries were reported.

Authorities are trying to find out why the plane aborted takeoff and hit the fence.
