ALEXANDRIA, Louisiana — Deputies say a 31-year-old Glenmora man has been booked with home improvement fraud after allegedly not finishing brick work for which he had been paid.

The Town Talk reports (http://townta.lk/1DjCzUq) Jody Wilson Strange was arrested Tuesday by Rapides Parish sheriff's detectives.

Authorities say the victim contacted the sheriff's office on Jan. 20 to report that Strange had allegedly been given two payments of $1,500 for doing brick work at a home in Pineville.

After an investigation, detectives secured a warrant to arrest Strange, who was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center and later released on a $1,500 bond.

It was unclear whether he has an attorney.
