DAVISON TOWNSHIP, Michigan — Authorities say an autopsy on the body of a 9-year-old boy that was pulled from a Flint-area lake found no signs of trauma or foul play.

Davison Township Police Chief Rick Freeman said Saturday it's likely Humphrey's body was in Lake Callis from shortly after he disappeared on July 4 until he was recovered Friday.

's father, Jamell Humphrey, suggested there might be foul play in the death. He didn't think that his son was in the lake for six days.

Freeman says the lake and surrounding area had been meticulously searched.

, who was severely autistic, had been with a foster family. The Flint Journal, citing court records, said the boy and siblings had been in foster care since February, when investigators found them living in awful conditions.
