35-year-old man dies after stabbing in North Little Rock; police questioning witnesses

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas — Authorities in North Little Rock are investigating after a man was stabbed to death.

North Little Rock Police Sgt. Brian Dedrick says officers were called to the 4900 block of School Street at about 10 p.m. Monday. Once there, officers discovered 35-year-old Aaron Shells Jr. suffering from a stab wound.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/ZNavYx ) that Shells was taken to a North Little Rock hospital where he later died.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made. Several witnesses are being questioned.
