Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run crash in southwest Denver

DENVER — Authorities are investigating after a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Denver.

Officers responded to the intersection of West Warren Avenue and South Clay Street in southwest Denver after witnesses reported seeing a body in the middle of the street just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The victim, who was only identified as a male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

KUSA-TV reports (http://on9news.tv/Y2rpF7 ) police have not released information about the vehicle involved or any suspects.
