DAYTONA BEACH, Florida — Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a teenager who has been missing for three months.

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office says 15-year-old Brandii Tolbert was reported missing Dec. 20 by her Florida Department of Children and Families case worker.

Officials say she was being transported to the Florida United Methodist Children's Home that day. She became upset and jumped out of the car at an intersection. She ran away. The driver says she drove around looking for her, but couldn't find the teen.

She was reported missing.

Deputies say Tolbert may be staying at a home on Oleander Avenue in Holly Hill. She posted on Facebook that she's staying with friends near the Daytona Beach Wal-Mart.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office.
