UP 200 Sled Dog Race to celebrate 25th year, promoting work of volunteers

MARQUETTE, Michigan — Organizers of an annual sled dog race in Michigan's Upper Peninsula are promoting the 2015 version as "The Year of the Volunteer."

WLUC-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1uEQMVP ) that mushers in the UP 200 Sled Dog Race will be at Westwood Mall in Marquette on Saturday selling last year's T-shirts at a discounted price.

The 240-mile event will celebrate its 25th year in February.
