SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota — Sioux Falls police say a man with two drug warrants out against him surrendered peacefully after a 4 1/2 hour standoff.
Authorities say Minnehaha County sheriff's officers were looking for 25-year-old Cody Michael Smith, of Sioux Falls.
When they found him at a northwest Sioux Falls house Thursday morning, several people came out and said Smith had access to guns.
Negotiators were called and Smith eventually surrendered.
Another man was also arrested for violating parole.
