Nimley's 8 treys and 34 points fuel Charleston Southern's 75-49 win over Presbyterian

CHARLESTON, South Carolina — Saah Nimley sank a career-high eight 3-pointers and finished with 34 points on 9-for-18 shooting to lead Charleston Southern to a 75-49 win over Presbyterian on Wednesday night.

Nimley also hit 8 of 10 from the line and Arlon Harper contributed 11 points as Charleston Southern (17-9, 11-4 Big South) won its fourth straight to remain tied atop the conference standings.

Leading by seven at the break, the Buccaneers poured it on the second half.

Aaron Wheeler's bucket quickly followed by a 3 from Nimley ignited a 17-3 run that also included a 3-pointer from Will Saunders to make it 53-33 with 9:36 left. The margin never fell below double figures the rest of the way as the Buccaneers took the season sweep over Presbyterian (9-19, 5-10) for the fourth year in a row.

Jordan Downing led the Blue Hose with 12 points.
