LARGO, Florida — Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies say a 23-year-old man is recovering at a hospital after being accidentally shot by a friend inside a Largo house.

The shooting happened late Thursday night.

Deputies say Tony Roe was taken to Bayfront Medical Center and his injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening.

According to deputies Roe and 19-year-old Dylan Harvey were playing with a loaded revolver by rolling the chamber and then taking turns pointing the gun at each other. At one point, Harvey pointed the gun at Roe and the gun discharged.

Deputies are investigating.
