UTICA, New York — Police in Utica say they're still trying to determine the motive behind the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man last weekend.
Officials tell local media outlets that Odum Shealey Jr. of Utica died after being shot around 10:40 p.m. Sunday near a street corner. Officers found him in an alley behind a house.
No arrests have been reported and police aren't releasing many details.
Utica police are still investigating the fatal shooting of 44-year-old John Spratt last July 24. Nobody has been arrested in Spratt's slaying.
