TUCSON, Arizona — Tucson police say a woman, her live-in boyfriend and their infant son are dead in an apparent double murder-suicide.

Police discovered the bodies of 34-year-old Heather Marcucci, 21-year-old Jeremy DeBaker and 7-week-old Jase David DeBaker outside a Tucson house early Tuesday.

Police say Jeremy DeBaker apparently shot his girlfriend and their child before turning the gun on himself.

They say the bodies of the adults were found in the front yard of the couple's home while the baby's body was found in a vehicle still strapped in a car seat.

Police also discovered two dogs fatally shot on the property.

Officers went to the home around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday after several emergency calls about gunfire in the area.

They say the motive for the shootings isn't immediately known.
