NORTH CHARLESTON, South Carolina — Police are investigating a shooting death in North Charleston.

Officers were called to an intersection around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Police spokesman Spencer Pryor said officers found a man who had been shot and killed.

Pryor said witnesses told police there had been an argument between the man and another person earlier Sunday. Pryor says a short time later, a car pulled up and shots were fired at the man.

The man's name has not been released.
