Minor earthquake in Alaska's Cook Inlet region felt in several communities


ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Seismologists say a minor earthquake in Alaska's Cook Inlet region was felt in several southcentral communities.

The Alaska Earthquake Center reports the 3.3 magnitude quake occurred late Tuesday night about 11 miles west of Wasilla.

The earthquake was felt in communities including Anchorage, Wasilla and Eagle River.

There are no immediate reports of damage.
