LAKELAND, Florida — Authorities are looking for a driver they say killed a 42-year-old man as he was walking along a Lakeland road.

Polk County Sheriff's detectives say Donald Bryan Branch was walking early Friday morning when he was struck and killed. Authorities say the suspect left the scene without helping the victim.

Authorities say the suspect's vehicle is a GM truck or SUV. The passenger side mirror was completely removed and there may also be damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.
