ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Power has been restored to all customers north of Anchorage who were part of a power outage Monday.
Matanuska Electric Association says in a release that it appears equipment failure at its Pipple Substation north of Eagle River caused the outage just after noon Monday.
The outage affected 14,000 customers in Eagle River, Birchwood, Chugiak and Peters Creek.
