NOTTINGHAM, New Hampshire — Authorities say two hikers who became lost while on an evening hike in Pawtuckaway State Park in Nottingham have been found.

Thirty-one-year-old Ken Wehry of Exeter called 911 after he and a 12-year-old hiking to the lookout tower on South Mountain became lost shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday. They were found and led out of the woods. Authorities say they had lights and were well equipped.

Participating in the search were police and fire department members and conservation officers from New Hampshire Fish and Game.
