BANGOR, Maine — A Maine board wants to hear from business owners about regulations they think are burdensome.
Members of Maine's Regulatory Fairness Board are joining the Bangor Regional Chamber of Commerce for a forum on Saturday at Eastern Maine Community College.
During the forum, the chamber will present some public policy issues it will be focused on during the 2014 session.
In the second half of the meeting, the Regulatory Fairness Board, led by Secretary of State Mathew Dunlap, will hear from the public on the impact of Maine's regulations on businesses. The board wants to hear about regulations business owners believe are unfair or impede growth.
