Police: Motorcyclist killed after colliding with an SUV in north Tempe; Name not released yet

TEMPE, Arizona — A motorcyclist is dead after colliding with an SUV in north Tempe.

Tempe police say the accident occurred Tuesday afternoon.

They say it appears the SUV turned in front of the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

The victim's name hasn't been released.

Police say the intersection of Curry Road and College Avenue is closed in all directions while officers are on scene investigating the fatal crash.
