Ariz.'s average gasoline prices at $3.79 per gallon, down by less than 1 cent from last week

PHOENIX — Gasoline prices in Arizona are lower at the pumps for the seventh consecutive week but just barely.

Officials with Triple-A Arizona said Thursday that the average price around the state for unleaded regular gasoline is $3.79 a gallon at the pumps. That's down by less than 1 cent from last week.

This week's national average is $3.72 per gallon, a decrease of almost 2 cents from last week.

Tucson has the lowest average gasoline price in Arizona at $3.65 a gallon while Flagstaff has the highest at $3.91.

South Carolina has the lowest average gas prices in the continental U.S. at $3.40 a gallon with California having the highest at $4.36 a gallon.
