2-vehicle accident east of Holbrook closes westbound I-40


HOLBROOK, Arizona — A serious accident has closed westbound Interstate 40 about 25 miles east of Holbrook in northeastern Arizona.

The Department of Transportation says the two-vehicle accident occurred Monday morning and involved a tractor-trailer rig that rolled over.

The Department of Transportation says the crash occurred just east of the Petrified Forest National Park.
