Ex-Veon aide sentenced to house arrest, probation; Veon's sentencing postponed to June 19

HARRISBURG, Pa. — A former aide to convicted ex-Rep. Mike Veon is facing a long term of probation following a sentencing hearing.

Dauphin County Judge Bruce Bratton on Wednesday also ordered that the first nine months of four years of probation for Annamarie Perretta-Rosepink include house arrest with electronic monitoring.

The 49-year-old Perretta-Rosepink was convicted in March along with her ex-boss on charges that they misused state funds at a nonprofit that Veon once ran in Beaver County. Perretta-Rosepink was formerly the manager of Veon's legislative district office in Beaver Falls.

Sentencing in the case for Veon, a former House Democratic whip who is already serving time for an earlier corruption conviction, has been postponed until June 19.
