Winning Cowboy Draw ticket purchased Thursday at Maverik station in Douglas worth $628,630


CHEYENNE, Wyoming — Someone has hit the first jackpot in the Wyoming Lottery's Cowboy Draw game.

The winning ticket is worth $628,630.

The Wyoming Lottery says the winning ticket was purchased Thursday at a Maverik station in Douglas.

An additional 11 players won a $1,000 each in Thursday's drawing.

The Wyoming Lottery was launched last August, selling Powerball and Mega Millions tickets. Those two games are played nationwide.

This year, the lottery began the Cowboy Draw game, which sells tickets only in Wyoming.

The Wyoming Lottery says altogether, more than 329,000 players have won a total of $1.8 million.
