Waukesha County Museum names advisory board for Les Paul exhibit

WAUKESHA, Wisconsin — The exhibit on late music legend Les Paul is getting closer to being finished at the Waukesha County Museum.

The museum recently named an advisory board with some big name musicians. Steve Miller, of the Steve Miller Band, has been named co-chair along with Les Paul's son Rusty Paul.

The others on the board include ZZ Top singer Billy Gibbons, musician and songwriter Ali Handal, Sam Llanas of the BoDeans, Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, Gibson Guitar CEO Henry Juszkiewicz (JUS'-kuh-wits) and Les Paul's friend Del Casher.

The "Les Paul Experience" is opening on what would have been Paul's 98th birthday June 9. It's expected to highlight Paul's life story and contain rare guitars and artifacts.
