NATCHEZ, Mississippi — A 42-year-old Natchez man wanted in a weekend shooting death has turned himself in.

The Natchez Democrat reports (http://bit.ly/1euQgt8) Casey Woods was booked Tuesday in the death of 42-year-old Pierre Tenner.

Police had been searching for Woods since Sunday evening after he allegedly shot and killed Tenner.

Natchez Police Detective Jerry Ford says the shooting was believed to be caused by a domestic dispute involving Tenner's estranged wife.

After the dispute, Ford says Woods retrieved a shotgun, which he used to shoot Tenner.

Woods remains in the Natchez City Jail with no bond set.

Online jail records do not list an attorney for Woods.
