MIDVALE, Utah — The family of a shooting victim is unhappy about a plea deal for a man who provided a getaway vehicle to another man accused of triple murder in Midvale at what authorities call a drug house.
KSL reports (http://bit.ly/1eyf2na) that Danielle Lucero's father calls the plea deal a slap in the face.
Davis Romney Fotu pleaded guilty Monday to obstruction of justice in a deal that requires his testimony against the alleged gunman.
The 33-year-old man's sentencing was put off until Feb. 21.
The other defendant, 25-year-old David Fresques , faces three murder charges for the Feb. 12 slayings. His next court appearance is set for Dec. 5.
