FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas — Charleston's Ty Storey has done nearly everything perfectly during his three seasons as the starting quarterback.

The talented senior, who has been committed to play for Arkansas since before his junior season, will try to cap his nearly flawless prep career when he leads the Tigers against Smackover in the Class 3A state championship game on Friday night.

Charleston won its fifth state title since 2005 last season, with Storey throwing six touchdowns in the championship game.

This season, the Tigers (13-0) have extended their winning streak to 28 games — including a 21-14 win over conference rival Booneville last week in the semifinals.

The Buckaroos (13-1) have won 13 straight games since a season-opening loss at Class 2A finalist Junction City.
