HOUMA, La. — A Terrebonne Parish jury has convicted a 28-year-old Bourg man in the rape of a woman.
The Courier reports (http://bit.ly/KM1Z6g ) Keith Thibodeaux was arrested a year ago for forcing the woman to have sex with him in her home, a few houses down from where he lived.
On Thursday, a jury convicted Thibodeaux of forcible rape, which carries a sentence of up to 40 years.
The jury found him guilty after deliberating for about an hour.
Judge Timothy Ellender will sentence Thibodeaux June 27.
