Police: Body of a man found face down and covered in snow in Flagstaff has been identified

FLAGSTAFF, Arizona — Authorities say the body of a man found face down and covered in snow in Flagstaff has been identified.

Flagstaff police say 35-year-old Kenneth O. Yazzie was from Holbrook.

Police were called Monday morning about a person who appeared to be sleeping against the wall at a building.

The man was declared dead at the scene.

Police say the cause of death will be determined by the Coconino County Medical Examiner's Office.

They say it doesn't appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death although it does appear that weather conditions might have contributed.

Yazzie was wearing a sweat shirt, leather coat, jeans and cowboy boots when his body was found.
