Vermont State Police investigate crash involving empty school bus in town of Rutland

RUTLAND, Vermont — Vermont State Police say Route 3 is closed in the town of Rutland following a crash involving an empty school bus at a railroad crossing.

Police say Route 3 in Rutland between Business Route 4 and East Proctor Road is closed Thursday morning while the crash is being investigated.

There is no immediate word on injuries or what caused the crash.
