ROCHESTER, New York — A man has been charged in the fatal shooting of another man outside a Rochester restaurant last month.

The Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester reports (http://on.rocne.ws/1CPViWd ) that 24-year-old Jesmond Hart of Rochester was charged Monday with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say Hart shot 23-year-old Jamar Paige of Irondequoit (uh-RAHN'-duh-kwoyt) outside Mark's Texas Hots on Lake Avenue early on the morning of Sept. 28. Officials say the two men had argued inside the late-night eatery.

Paige was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he died.

Hart is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Rochester City Court.
