BUCKHANNON, West Virginia — A Weston man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the death of a Buckhannon resident.
Robert Eugene Siron III also received a one-to-five year sentence on a charge of conspiracy to conceal a body.
Media outlets report that the 31-year-old Siron was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to the charges in Upshur County Circuit Court. Under a plea agreement, Siron will provide statements against co-defendants Jesse Lee Heater and Rodolpho Villagomez Correa, both of Buckhannon.
The men are accused of participating in a plot to kill 29-yar-old Joshua Oberg. Oberg's body was found in a shallow grave in a remote area of Upshur County in July 2012.
