Powerball ticket worth $2M claimed by Virginia Beach man who played ages of family members


VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia — A Powerball ticket worth $2 million has been claimed by a Virginia Beach man.

Media reports say 48-year-old Michael Alston celebrated his new wealth Monday at the store where he purchased the ticket. He selected the numbers using the ages of family members.

Alston's winning ticket was for the Sept. 19 drawing.
