Fire scorches Anchorage pancake restaurant; cause of Sunrise Grill Pancake House fire unknown

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Anchorage Fire Department investigators are trying to learn the cause of a fire that seriously damaged a restaurant.

Investigators say the fire at Sunrise Grill Pancake House began about 5 a.m. Saturday.

The department says 15 units responded and fought the fire at the Old Seward Highway establishment for two hours.

Investigator Brian Balega tells KTUU-TV (http://bit.ly/10GnH2I ) the structure remained mostly intact but the business may be a total loss.

No one was hurt in the fire.
